The Rubicon was the border of Rome. It was a river. Caesar went home to Rome after fighting the Celts because of a note he got that said he would be arrested when he got home to Rome. But Caesar hesitated to cross the Rubicon because if he crossed the Rubicon, Rome’s army would arrest him. He decided to fight against Rome. As soon as he crossed the Rubicon all the Roman warriors fled, even Pompey.

What Did We Use?
Water, ice cubes, a jar, a glass and humidity.
What Did We Do?
We put ice cubes in the glass and the jar and filled them with water. We put the jar outside but we kept the glass inside.
The jar outside got more dew and it got faster because it was hotter outside than inside.
What Did We Learn?
We learned that the jar got more dew because there was a 7 degree difference outside (hotter).
Fact: The hotter the air is the more water vapor it can hold.

Based on More Mudpies to Magnets
We saw mostly small, fluffy clouds but a couple of wispy clouds here and there. We also saw some mysterious wispy clouds low in the sky.
Rain: we measured 1 3/4 inches of rain in our weather station.

Guess what? There isn’t any new water on earth. Every time it rains, just imagine that it is raining last time what it rained. This is how it happens:
1. The sun heats up the water in rivers and seas.
2. Little bits of water go up into the air and turn into big clouds.
3. When the clouds get too big, they let go of their rain that goes straight into the sea.
Snowflakes come in all different shapes but they have one thing in common: they all have six points.

Julius Caesar decided that if he would be king, he would have to fight more battles. But Caesar was bad for a little bit because if he lost a battle he would send a note back to Rome saying that there was victory in his sword. And then Caesar went to Britain to try and conquer the Celts. But when he saw them, it was really astonishing, for the Celt soldiers were naked. They also had tall helmets and they had painted their bodies blue, thinking it would protect them from swords and arrows.
Caesar, played by Emma Bear, confronts the Celts. Notice that the Celts are all blue.
